Describe a day in your life - 10 years from now..

On a forum I belong to, someone handsome and delicious recently started a thread entitled “Describe a day in your life - ten years from now”. Here’s what I came up with. Disclaimer: I have a reputation for being a braggart on said forum (my “forum character”. which happens to be my actual character too) but really, none of this stuff it completely outside the realm of possibility, I feel…

5:00 - I wake up and my dog pass me the morning papers. I take a look at the day’s press whilst printing my architecture drawings on my iMAC . My face is on the front page again.

The article is about me being one of the Top Asian Architects to get appointed to the Design Team to decorate Mr Donald Trump's skyscaper in Dubai. He wants to incorporate a 3 - storey penthouse for his son , Barron Trump. I am an expert in Photoshop ,Autocad ,Intellicad and 3d studio max. Donald Trump's secretary calls me at 6am to remind me of the discussion later for his new SUPER LUXURY office skyscaper in Dubai. Wired has name-dropped me again. Forbes seems to think they know how much I’m worth.

I am worth about US $200 million. so little..

Checking my mails I see that I’ve been invited to speak at the 2017 Architectural Conference in London. Again. Better start thinking of a clever presentation.

7:30 - Take a peepee on my luxurious pink fur toilet and have a Vichy shower massage.

8:00 - Wake up the children and ask what they would like for breakfast. My children, having been raised on excellent home-cooking (my Italian-Chinese hubby and I are accomplished cooks) have no desire to eat the usual sugar-laden cereals and pop-tarts that the other kids do. My son asks for English breakfast with scamble eggs and my daughter wants balsamic vinegarette dash with garlik croutons and salad with chicken slices. I cook their breakfast.

8:30 - I kiss my hubby on the lips before leaving the house. He’s still sleeping. My husband is a web developer for Goggle , graduated from UCLA , part time actor and model . I head off to work. Hmm which car today…Ferrari ,BMW M5 or Maserati. I take the Maserati.

9:00 - Waiting on my desk are the daily earnings reports that my personal assistant , kelvinn, has printed out. I give them a cursory glance. My online media empire is doing well and is now generating enough revenue to support 100 full-time staff. Much appreciated thanks to my trusty mate , kelvinn.

10:00 - Meeting with Mr Donald Trump and his daughter , Ivanka Trump. We brainstorm and conceptualise new ideas. Although I’ve hired the best, brightest minds in the industry I’m still very hands on. I’ve built up everything we see around us from nothing and feel a massive sense of responsibility. I still can’t let anyone work without my input. Not yet. Maybe some day.

11:00 - Sitting in on an interview with a guy wants a job on the Donald Trump Project (DTP). I google his name quietly. Nothing comes up. Sorry mate, not a chance.

12:00 - Italian lunch at a place across town. After lunch ,I visit my brother’s design agency. He is not around. In Paris, they tell me. I’ll shoot him an email when I get back to the office.

14:00 - Investment / acquisition talks with a small startup. I am an architect and also a venture capitalist . A large part of our business is now as venture capitalists in the online world. We’re the best in the industry as we are also a production house who knows our shit. Due Diligence regarding web assets is like breathing to us. The startup looks promising. Dr Finian Tan, my director , tells me what he thinks of the acquisition. I nodded my head and let him settle this for me as I am too busy with Donald Trump .

17:00 - I call my dad. Our restaurant venture in London is going great. He sounds genuinely happy - running a successful Ultra Luxury Chinese restaurant is something he’s wanted to do ever since retiring. Dad says the BBC and Ellen Degeneres from US interviewed him again. We chit-chat about the Iceland and Russia branches planned for next year.

18:00 - My Italian-Chinese hubby calls. Are we going out or staying in for dinner? I tell him we’re going out and book a table at the family’s favourite restaurant - the kids love the place as it’s run by “the guy from tv” aka Jamie Oliver ,,who else .. At the restaurant we let the kids order for us. They have excellent taste in food (been taught well). I let my daughter try some wine, she squishes up her face.

20:00 - My husband takes the children home. I go back to the office for a while. We just took delivery of 100 Aeron chairs for the staff. Everyone is smiling and bouncing up and down on their new chairs. I sit down to some paperwork and visit the development team working on a couple of projects that I expect great things from.

22:00 - Head home. The kids are already in bed. My Italian-chinese husband and I sit in the pool (a beautiful infinity pool that I designed) with a glass of champagne and watch the hover-cars fly by in the distance.

The sunnylistic island of so very crowdy Sentosa will soon be given another boost as the place to chill out.
Café Del Mar opened in December 2006 last year .Glorious sunsets, cocktails in hand, tantalizing foodz and ambient music -- it's the spirit of Café Del Mar, right smack on Siloso Beach . For the first time in Singapore, we’re having our own designer beach party.
The iconic bar that resides in San Antonio, Ibiza, has created music that shaped a generation.
Before them, "chillout music" was not a category. Now, the club has materialized on our shores, lock, stock and barrel. Do you know that Singapore is the only place out of Europe to have this club . Just like MOS , Singapore is also the first MOS out of UK . I remembered 10 years ago , i was so crazy about MOS.



Cafe Del Mar is perched on 25,000 sq ft of gorgeous sand in Sentosa’s sunset bay—an ideal location for those breathtaking sunsets— complete with a bungalow and 25m long dipping pool, It is also the sexiest spot on Sentosa island. Sadly, it is also the same spot where i used to be hanging loose at the Sunset Bay Beach bar opened by my friend , Paul . He has since moved to Civil Service Club . How boring !


Live bands playing above the pool on a mobile platform and the crowd togged out in their body-beautiful best. Bikini and board short-clad bodies sway to the ambient tunes. It's haute beach life personified. Think style without pretension, complete with laid-back buzz. At Café Del Mar Singapore, the food is just as sexy. The menu will evolve seasonally, with a refreshing take on tapas, degustation feasts—all with seafood as the star of the show. Chill out over Café Del Mar’s very own sangrias, margaritas and caipirinhas.On New Year's Eve 2006, there was the grandest, most stylish beach party on this island.

Aloof at LOOF singapore !

Last nite , my friend and I went to a happening place , well so called "happening" place rooftop call the "Loof" .
It is opposite Raffles Hotel, Singapore , juz above the McDonalds.

I was so dissssssapppppointed . wtf ....dsertjkhcdbsdgfbjkawhjbfc.....
So many SPGs with equally fugly counterpartsz down there . Mind you , the SPGs were so ugly,
I completely lost my mood and went to Clarke Quay instead .

Over at Clarke Quay , it wuz definitely more happening.
Bankers and brokers chilling out to Erdinger and Tiger ......
Wat a pity
I wasn't dressed up to the nines !!

We strolled along , enjoying the many new pubs that had sprung up over the New Year of 2007 .
These include an asylum / pub called the Clinic at the Cannery .
One can party in the 8 diff rooms ,they are quirky with names like Anthrax and Morphine .
Actually , i was supposed to be the Marketing Manager for this pub .
Luckily i declined the offer to be that .
Hospital beds are used for the tables and chairs.
I wonder do they have free medication in the toilet !

Hed Kandi was quite happening.
The place gave me good vibrationszzz.....
It seems to be like every pub is fighting for the same crowd .


As i was waiting for my fren at the 7-11 , a caucasian guy came to chat me up .
Seeing his ugly face , i quickly made a dash to the female toilet upstairs...


Coming this Sunday , i will be heading over to Cafe Del Mar , Sentosa / siloso beach .
Singapore is the only country out of Europe to have a Cafe Del Mar . Wow
It ups the X factor ! It juz opened in Dec 2006 , so it is very very new indeed .
There is a 25m swimming pool and that is the main reason why i will be hanging loose there .
I also wanna check out any new hunks playing beach volleyball , and ...
I hope to bum into my ex boyfren .
He is always volleying balling every Sunday .

Absolut Vogue Dinner at Beaufort Hotel Sentosa

Theme for this year annual dinner :
Absolut Vogue - A Black Affair

Highlights :
An annual dinner for Display Express Business Colleagues following a cocktail thereafter .
I had to source a venue that was elegant yet different whilst holding the wow factor.
I narrow it down to 5 star hotel at Sentosa .
It was beautiful .Nature at its best . Monkeys and peacocks roam freely , mingly with the guests .
Reception ,drinks and Seafood buffet dinner were held at The Terrace.

Logistics :
Guests made their way up the naturally well ventiliated arena where they were greeted with the obnoxious monkeys runningst here and up there the misty ceilings. Guests also had a close encounter with a peacock .There were the infamous paintings in the Wallace Collection at the hotel lobby . Delicious canapes were eaten and the sounds of a String Quartet played to the guests in the main hall before dinner was called. Dinner took place in the Terrace Restaurant , underneath the voluptuous high ceiling with many chanderliers amongst the palm trees and fountain which were lite with fairy lights. As the night grew darker , guests mingled with the friendly waitresses and played table games with exciting prizes.
